Municipality Bio:  Allenhurst is one of Monmouth County’s oldest towns; it was established over 115 years ago and was originally part of Ocean Township. It is one of New Jersey’s smallest township; covering only .3 square miles and a population of only 700. The Township has enacted several local ordinances in a hope of preserving the historical architecture of the older homes. Also located in the township is the Allenhurst Beach Club, which has and continues to attract people from all over New Jersey during the summer months.
